EXCEPT ONE
Modern death metal band formed in Paris, France in 2011 by Estelle, the vocalist, and Junior, the rhythm guitarist.
With their latest and second album, “Broken,” released in 2022, composed and recorded during the pandemic, Except One skillfully blends modern death metal and deathcore to create a dark and powerful LP.
The alternating high-pitched screams and powerful growls performed by Estelle add a black/death metal nuance to the album.
Since then, Except One has resumed performing live concerts to showcase their new opus.
